Last updated: 2022-12-08

This privacy policy describes our policies and procedures for collecting and using your data when using the Learn Tamil app. Additionally, Learn Tamil contains no advertisements, targeted or otherwise.

What We Collect & Why

Our guiding principle is to collect as little as possible and require as few app permissions as possible to provide the service.

Learn Tamil is a standalone app that does not require login, user identification and has no communication with any server that we operate.

As such the Learn Tamil app does not send data of any kind to Cerebral Cereal. Local app data, like quiz progress and settings, are stored only on the user's phone.

Learn Tamil is currently published as an Android app in the Google Play Store. As such, we are able to access certain data that are collected by Google for all Play Store apps. Google's privacy policy is the source of truth for how they collect and handle data for apps on the Play Store.

This information is all aggregated at a daily level and has no no user level data shared. This data is used to analyse the usage of the product, as well as it's quality, helping to inform decisions to market and improve the product.
